Letus+IndieRods +mattebox=My setup (pic)

nice setup, just a couple of questions and observations. . .
first, how do you mount that to a tripod, with the risers hanging down underneath the camera light that, most tripod heads would never be able to latch.
second, I would reccomend flipping the letus the other way around, so that your lens is lower, this would aleviate the tripod issue, and allow you to attatch a follow focus and also lens support.

Im not exactly sure what you mean when you say "the risers"
I think what your seeing actually is the part where you screw
on the mounting plate.

ahhh, you are right, didn't realize that was a solid plate under there. You still may have a hard time getting a follow focus up that high, but you may be able to thread it on the bottom side of the lens.

It's not the prettiest sight but I'm sure it does its job.

only thing missing are those two little jets near the back at the bottom.

(helps create lift so you can clear by the time you reach the end of the runway).

Oh yeah. Do you know a good store to get those at ?
I would have already purchase them, but there just so darn expensive !

WHat lens do you use? .. I use a canon fd 1:8 and feel that the pic always is way to "zoomed" i would like a bit more wide feeling to it. Any idea´s?
