Letus Extreme Problem...Maybe...Maybe not

Hey guys, I got a Letus Extreme and want to know if this a problem with the adapter or maybe I'm being stupid somewhere, I'm a novice at this. I seem to get a lot of grain (or maybe its dust) when I move the lens (nikon) F-Stop up.

Now, I'm not sure if I'm not supposed to mess with the lens Fstop and just use my camera's, but I get a lot of grain (I think It may be the ground glass texture maybe?) or maybe it's dust? And I just have to clean the adapter. Anybody know?

I'd appreciate it! Thanks!
 
On the Extreme there's an f4 f-stop limit, f5.6 if you're not looking at a bright surface. Anything beyond that you're going to see grain.
