Letus Extreme Order Status

Just wondering what the order status of everyone was on the letus extreme. I ordered mine almost four weeks ago but haven't received any contact since. Emailed and called to get an update but can't get through to anyone. I assume they are busy but it would be nice to get atleast an update. My order is #447 from the adpaterplace. :)
 
Sorry if I come across as impatient but I have all this extra stuff like lenses, followfocus, rails, mattebox just sitting here without no Letus Lovin'.....
 
i know how ya feel, just keep in mind the business of the season..

has yours been shipped? If not, i wouldnt count on getting it by christmas.
 
I ordered mine on Nov 7th and it was shipped Dec 12th. I should get it on monday. Now I just need my EX1 to arrive :)

Hein emailed me and said it was gonna ship sometime this week, so far from what I gathered it seems 5 weeks is about the rough time frame give or take. Not bad for such a sought after 35mm adapter. It's kind of weird, I've never been so antsy to get my hands on a product before. I guess browsing all the photos and videos posted on the site doesn't help either.
 
I have not ordered many products from vendors that advertised in the Dvxuser forum or suggestions from users in the Dvxuser forum, but a few and from those few that I ordered, only one vendor was on time. At times I'm very frustrated because the vendors don't specify on their site that they don't have the products in stock or the time frame for delivery. It's like they're quick at taking your money but not delivery their product. And worst of all, they don't respond to your emails once they have your money. But again, it's only a few that I encountered this frustration.
 
I would love to hear how these work out for you. The autoflip feature of this product is pretty attractive. I didn't see any mention of a follow focus on the LEtus sight though. Which one are you using? Thanks!

I know how you feel, it is frustrating to order a high priced item(referring to those people without a big hollywood budget) and not receive any updates from the vendor for several weeks. For me a simple "You are number ### in line and your order will ship between ##/##2007-##/##/2007" would make me feel at ease. But I also understand they are swamped and there is high demand so no biggie. I've had great experiences with Tim from Indipro and Todd from Indisnap....really haven't tried any other vendors.

I bought my Follow Focus from Tim at Indifocus.com. Great customer service and some of the best prices I've seen. I also ordered the support rails and he threw in the adjustable mount to help balance the Letus Extreme. I was sold on the Letus after seeing footage from DeGrey and Phillip Bloom and comparing adapters and googling reviews and footage for a month. I almost went for the brevis but could not wait for the flip module to be released. Plus it seems like the Letus is all the rage on the DVX forum.
