Letus extreme - how long batteries work?

Can anyone, please, comment on how long good alkaline batteries , like duracell, varta, energizer last in letus extreme?

How about using rechargeable 2700-2800mah ni-mh batteries, will they hold longer?

I would appreciate your experience...

p.s. let's talk about room temperature times, not somewhere in the cold.

I left my Letus on overnight on Friday on accident. Woke up and it was still vibrating. Must be quite some time.

However, I would choose Ni-Mh rechargeable batteries as well now that I think about it. you can get full charge usage out of them every time you switch so that the GG is always vibrating off of full power? Maybe that doesn't matter? Dunno

what do you mean with ni-mh batteries, i didn't get your point...

OK Ni Mh stand for a type of rechargeable battery. Nikel methal hydry . it is the normal AA rechargeable battery you could get from any camera shop

i know that :) my question was which batteries will last working longer in letus adapter, 2700-2800mah capacity ni-mh rechargeables or simple quality alkalines, like duracel, energizer etc...

I have 44 hours of usage on my camera and I just changed the batteries. But Im sure I could have gone on with the old batteries a lot longer.

Only reason I changed them was becuase I freaked out that it was causing the smudgeness i was talking about in another thread. But that wasnt the case. Im sure they will last for days of continuos use.

Im using Energizer Ultimate batteries.

oh, thanks man! so i guess there is no need to buy recharageable batteries, i just thought it might last a few hours, so.... awesome!

btw, esami, i got my letus shipped two days ago, YAY! can't wait :)

Excellent! Did you get the EX1 kit as well? I have that on order and Im waiting for shipment.

no... as i'm shooting with A1, so i didn't buy the new achromat glass.. i was told by letus , that there is no reason to use it on any other camera except ex1...
