What to do with a Contax Zeiss Planar 1.7/50mm and the LetUsExtreme?
Or what to do with M42 mount?

I'm using M42 lenses on my Extreme already; I just use an M42->Canon adapter ring, and the Canon mount on the Extreme.
 
can anyone answer this quesiton for me please?

"for nikon mounted adapters, which of the nikon series are useable? And what who exactly are nikkor? I own a 50mm 1.4 that says nikon nikkor.

The reason i am asking is because i would like to look around for lenses when my extreme comes in and i don't want to purchase something that wont mount.

Is there a difference between Nikon AI and Nikon AI-S ? Are there other compatible mounts?"

All nikon lenses will work so long as they have an aperture ring.

do you mean this kind of adapter? I use it with my Contax/Zeis Planar > Canon...

I'm using the same adapters. They work, but I found that I can't get the lens to infinity because of the extra gap.

Barry, are you having any problems with that?
 
I have M42 to Nikon mounts. So okay, then it's not just me. I think having an M42 mount for the LEtusEX and PL mount will be grrreeeaaat.
