Letus & EX1 Video

Hello,

We've recently completed shooting 2 of the 5 short stories with the EX1 and Extreme. It's part of our Monkey Tales Short Films project. However, we won't have those shorts posted for a while. In the meantime, I've been able to find the time to shoot some great footage and assemble this short piece named 'Eldorado's Spring'. It's a continuation of 'Winter's Solitude', which I shot in February with just the EX1.

Enjoy!

Simply beautiful. What lenses did you use? Also, how did you do the slo-mo (the cat scene in Winter' Solitude) ?

Thanks for the comment. I used Nikon lenses ranging from 24mm to 180mm. All the snow footage was shot in 24p overcranked to 60, including the cat shot. The Letus Extreme is a great piece of equipment. It really opens up a whole new level of cinematography for under 10K. (Camera, Letus, and lenses of course.)

Thanks! Sure, we have several bts photos of our first short story production that have a few shots of the rig. It's nothing unique. EX1, Extreme, Redrock FF, slightly modified Letus rail system, and Cartoni Focus head. Here is a direct link to the bts photo page. As you can see, we are a very small team, and very low budget.

We have no footage of the actual short available yet. We are currently busy planning for the third short story production.
