Letus Economy vs Letus Extreme

[Anwar]

is the economy truely a extreme? is the only difference the battery on the outside and the plastic case? also does anybody here have both or either? im looking for info on the economy but i find very little and its hard to compare a DoF adapter without seeing video samples because at the end of the day its the image quality..

I used to have economy. Optically they are said to be the same. The Economy enclosure looks like DIY, though. The main problem, however, is that you cannot use any of the Letus optimization kits (quality achromats) with it. I had serious edge sharpness issues and severe chromatic aberration and there was no way to improve it (I contacted Letus many times and they were unable to help).
Use SGPro now - it's like day and night...

so a economy is no good? i was going to grab one for about 500 bucks and grab the elite upgrade thing..but since the optimization kits dont even work im assuming that the elite upgrade/back focus thing wont even work either..

any other input or feed?

Grab the sgpro. you won't be sorry. Look is way better to me and I've had the extreme and the sgpro.
