The Letus AnamorphicX adapter allows the conversion of spherical prime and zoom lenses into anamorphic format. This adapter is the first of its kind in the industry. The adapter allow the conversion without any compromise to image quality, yet in turn allow the forming of beautiful oval bokeh that is unique to anamorphic lenses and elegant flares without image color aberration.

Available this month, anyone heard about it or interested in it?

I think many of us are interested. Precious little material has been released on it. This will get you started as far as an overview, though: https://vimeo.com/74563100

I'm very interested in it for shooting scope on the 16:9 S35mm sensors I usually put my CP.2s on (it's always nice to be able to put the full resolution of your sensor to use).

The vimeo sample footage is too compressed to be of much use in assessing the glass. But the stills samples that have been posted look superb, and the focal range the adapter can be used with is huge - so I have pretty high hopes for it.

Hm, non rotatable filter holder from what I can tell but probably not the end of the world.
