I know I can't stop my 35mm lens when using DOF adapter with vibrating gg. Some people say their limit is f5.6, other say it's f4.0. However, with my Letus Economy the gg pattern is clearly visible at 2.8 when the lens is pointed at smooth, evenly lit area.
I dismantled the adapter and inspected it, but it seems to work - the motor is running and the gg is vibrating. I wonder if the amplitude is sufficient - I can hardly tell the gg is vibrating by looking at it, but its movements become apparent when I focus on the gg and turn it on.
Here's how a wall in my bedroom looks at f2.8 (50mm lens):

The wall was poorly lit - sorry. But I get the same problems when shooting sky
Anyone using Letus adapters who can confirm this is standard behaviour? I consider getting rotating adapter, because it drives me crazy.
And yes - I have new alkaline batteries
