Letus adapter artifacts

When using long lens (135mm) with Letus Economy adapter the ground glass pattern becomes visible. This is particularly apparent when the lens aperture is >=8 and while shooting the large areas of same color/luma (such as overcast sky). Constant (invariant) pattern appears on the entire frame - it looks like small patches (brighter and darker areas). When I switch the adapter off it becomes obvious that these patterns are caused by the ground glass - all the dark spots of the ground glass turn into dark areas when the glass shaking is switched on. I don't experience them with shorter lens. Has anyone experience this?

ufff. thanks a lot. i thought there was something wrong with my Letus. it's just another thing to remember while shooting.

The lens.

Rule of thumb:
1) Use aperture on lens to set depth of field (do not go past f/5.6 with LEX).
2) Use camera to set exposure (you can stop down as far as the camera will go).
