I know this has been discussed before but I just wanted to double check. I know that the computer is progressive and therefore you won't see the interlace flicker when viewing 24pa footage on a computer monitor. The issue I'm having is that I'm seeing the letterbox frame flicker when viewing it on a dvd with a plasma tv. If I check the reduce interlace flicker properties on those clips would that take care of the problem? I shot with thin and detail level -3.
I'm not home right now and won't be able to test it out for a while. Also, I noticed that the letterbox flickers only on those clips that have been doubled with bezier masks. The single video tracks are fine. Thanks for any help!!!

EDIT:
I was thinking about this a little more and I just realized that it's probably not flicker but a blur. I was using the top track to follow a person in focus with the mask and the bottom with a blur to create a shallow depth. I think that the blur is making the letterbox bleed out into the frame thus creating unusual flickering onto the footage.
How can I solve this? I really like the blur effect but. I wonder if I change the order of the filter or apply the filter onto the whole track rather than the individual clip itself if this would make a difference. I know I'm wondering out loud.
