I'm burning some material to DVD for my demo reel for an interview tomorrow and am trying to get a piece imported into iDVD in the correct aspect ratio. I shot it 24pa squeeze mode and edited it with FCP set on anamorphic. It looked perfect in FCP, as well as in the exported DV stream when played in quicktime. However, when I dropped the file into iDVD (sorry, i just don't have enough time to learn DVD studio pro for the interview) it vertically stretched it to a 4:3 aspect ratio. Is there a specific setting I need to use when I export it so that iDVD will recognize the 16:9?
