Let's see what kind of community we are... (Isara needs a little help)

Alright - just got around to making my matching $20 donation that I promised.
Sorry for the hold up PK...but at least now your thread got another bump.

:)

Thanks, Luis.

And thanks to everyone who donated to our cause. Because of you we were able to raise $295 in a very short time.

All of us at the Isara Charity Foundation really appreciate DVXuser's continued support.

Just saw this. Even though I'm in Vancouver at the moment, I'll donate in American money. That extra six cents on the dollar matters, people!

Just wanted to give everyone a quick update.

The Toyota dealership has been dragging their feet (a lot) so a friend of ours made a few calls to mechanics he knows and was able to locate a replacement engine and a mechanic who could do the job for a little over $1,000. DVXuser helped us raise about $350 already, which we gave to the mechanic today so he could start ordering the engine.

If you haven't donated yet, and can afford to, we sure could use some extra cash to pay for the repairs.

Thanks, DVXusers!!! :)

Come on, you cheap bastardos! Help PK and a bunch of kids out! I know must of us aren't exactly rolling in falling dollars, but I'm sure we can spare a few shekels. Unless you just suck naturally.

Thank you, pixelated! We got your donation via paypal.

WOW! Stephen, your donation put us over the top. We now have enough to pay for the engine and, after one last talk with Toyota, they agreed to put the engine in for free!

Thank you to everyone who chipped in to make this happen. Every penny you donated will go towards fixing the van. I'll post pictures as soon as they have the van up on the rack and as soon as its back on the road again.

Once again DVXuser saves the day and makes a difference.
