This reminds me of a project that a friend of mine wanted to do. He wanted it to be this weird film that was all about these really cool visuals and sounds. When I asked what the story was, he said "There is no story, it's just a bunch of cool looking stuff."
I refused to do the project saying that it would be utter crap if there isn't a story to back up the cool visuals. Here is proof of my decision.
I wouldn't call this crap, but even the coolest looking effects become tiresome with no plot attached.
