Not really sure if there is a better section, but I had to share this gem!
"Next shoot will be covering red carpet premiere in Westwood on June 27th from 3pm to 8pm. Ideally videographer should have a car and be able to provide transportation for exec producer from Hollywood to Westwood at start of shoot and from Westwood to LAX at end of shoot.
Credit will provided. Copies of the project will be provided upon completion for use in your demo reel. Ideally we are looking for a Transformers fan who is interested in attending the event. This is a low budget project but we will compensate you $100 cash. "
Now, I'm used to "Lo/No" paying gigs, where they expect you to use your gear, work for hours, and pay next to nothing- if at all. However, I have never seen anybody with the stones to ask you to be their chauffer too! Not being familiar with the L.A. area, wouldn't a cabbie charge you more than this?
