Less than 60 hours to go before Apple closes the door on Final Cut Studio 5.0 -> 5.1

Apple has stated that all applications to upgrade Final Cut Studio 5.0 into 5.1 must be postmarked by December 20, 2006 which is this Wednesday. There is more info on the Apple site along with the form and specifics as to how to move to 5.1. The price to upgrade (which Apple is calling a crossgrade) from Final Cut Studio 5.0 to 5.1 is $49. Other versions, 4.0/4.5 have different rates ($199-I think). You can upgrade/crossgrade into the entire Final Cut Suite (FCP-DVD Studio-In Motion-GarageBand) for that price even if you only own one application, own Final Cut Pro 4.5, pay the money and you get the entire Final Cut Studio 5.1.

Just a friendly reminder

Be well

Was freaking out to get this done today... only to find that Apple has once again extended the final mailing date.

March 19, 2007 is new final mailing date.

I really need to stop being lazy about this though...
