Leopard and FCP, Compressor ?

I have a Powerbook G4 1.67 that was running Tiger. Everything was running great until i did the upgrade to Leopard. My Compressor no longer works ! I understand i may need to do a complete reinstall of Leopard and wiper her clean. Is there anything else i need to know regarding what will work with Leopard as far as FCP Studio 1 or Quicktime versions ? Do you think this will fix my problem ? I have tried all the support articles from Mac and this was sort of the last thing Apple suggested ?

I have a Powermac G5 dual 2.0 running Tiger (last version) and Compressor never has worked. I think it may have something to do with the Tiger install. Should i go Leopard on this machine as well ?

I'm stuck, i really want my Compressor to work. Anyone have any insight into these problems ?

Thanks

Do an Archive and Install. That saves all your applications, but does a fresh OS install. And DO NOT upgrade QT to 7.3. Stick to 7.2.1

I have quicktime 7.3.1 and every thing works perfectly, i think the issues were certain plugins that people had.

Mine was flawless until the Leopard upgrade and it's been spotty since ... works sometimes, other times not. I just did the QT 7.4 upgrade so we'll see....

What bums me out is the loss of Qmaster reliability with Leopard, before that I was using my iMac + two MacBook Pros and was cruising right along.

I have spent countless hours trying and trying to get it to work with Leopard. I tried it all. I went back to Tiger and did a clean install and made my Powerbook new. FCS works like it was meant to thank god ! Revamping my G5 now ! Thanks for all the help

I wish I could go back to Tiger.... I have a new octo 2.8ghz Mac Pro that will only run on Leopard and I can't get virtual clustering to work!

Compressor 3.0.2 doesn't work on my 17" G4 Powerbook with QT 7.2, When I went to 7.3.1 it worked just fine.
Haven't had any additional issues after upgrading to 7.3.1

Right now, I'm running Final Cut Studio 1 with Compressor 2.4.1. I'm using QT 7.4.1. It's all running fine on Leopard (10.5.2) on my PowerBook G4 (17"), 1.67 GHz.
