Ok,
I'm probably the least knowledgable person here.
rogar-KnockedOut(D I have been shooting & editing amateur video for about 3 years and the hobby has now gotten so busy that I'm trying to move it to a business. Although I know the learning curve is extremely steep, I'm going for the HVX200.
So far, I've got:
Firestore FS100
Extra Batteries
External charger
And I'm getting the 16x9 Firestore Box
I want to know about lenses, though. Someone recommended a protective UV lens (I will be shooting in an offshore environment where salt-mist might be an issue) that was coated on both sides to avoid reflections of the lens. Does anyone have a suggestion for a UV lens filter that will be compatible with the HVX200?
Also, I was going to buy a right-angle firewire cable for the firestore and I was wondering if it would be better to have a shorter cable if I'm planning on mounting it beneath the camera in the Firestore box. I saw a 48" right-angle cable for sale and I'm afraid that will be too long.
I would appreciate any advice you guys have.
