Alright so i just mounted my letus elite and now i have to buy a lens... unfortunately i dont think i have enough money right now to buy multiple but i can afford one. I was wondering what would be a good choice, i personally think i want to get a 35mm f 1/4. Can you guys link me to some lenses that have been working well for you? or that you know work well... If it is any assistance, i have an HPX170...let me know. Thank you.

You didn't specify which 35mm 1.4... Is it a Sigma one? If yes, forget it. Remember that Sigma's 35mm 1.4 is a DX lens so not a full frame 35mm lens.

I agree with steev'sHVX here, and if you don't have many cash to spend I would go for the Sigma 24-60mm 2.8.

I can assure you that's a beautiful lens. Just google around and you're going to find that it's one of the best short zooms around, with many mates comparing it to the much more expensive Canon L lenses. I have one and really stand by it.
The newer version, the 24-70mm is not so detailed, so save a few bucks and buy the old one.

Sorry if I disagree! There are quite a few zoom lenses that surpasses primes everyday. Of course it depends on the prime and on the zoom we are talking about...

...Plus, it gives you more freedom to elaborate your shots much quicker than a prime. The only con is the hole they let on your wallet and - in some cases - a few stops of light loss.
