Hello all. My question today is what lense for the letus do you recomend for fast action and fighting scenes? I have a 50mm 1.4d but am afraid it is not good for this type of scene. thank you in advance for all help provided.

That depends totally on what you want to do with what. An action scene can be very different from a fighting scene and so on. Why do you think a 50mm wont be any good?
If you watch a fighting scene from a film, it's not unusual that they use multiple different focal lengths during that scene.
I would rather worry about technic and what's practical, for instance, a lot of people shoot fighting scenes close-up and handheld because it's easier to mask that the actors aren't really hitting eachother, or you can get some crazy stunt dudes who will beat the crap out of the eachother for some extra cash and mount the camera on a tripod and let it roll in a wide-shot. Both will give very different results :)

I believe you have to be a bit more specific, so people can easier give some tips and good advice.

Awesome You answered my question very well thanks. I just thought that the 50mm was very slow. I was geting alot of motion blur but i guess thats more of a technical issue. Thanks again.

Looks like your lens is multi-coated with the phosphor - just like the cathode ray tube ;)
Seriously - the adjective 'slow', when used to describe a lens, doesn't mean it produces blurry image... It only means that the lens has small maximum aperture (when you open the lens aperture all the way up the hole is still small and the lens is not capable of letting much light through - simply speaking). The lens speed is very important property and has great consequences you definitely need to be aware of, so you better read this:
