Is there any sort of lens i can buy for the dvx, or anything i can do to enhance the picture........................

Well, that all depends on how you want to "enhance" the picture, what specifically do you want to do? Chances are there is a lense and filter that will solve your problem....

well, when i shot i notice that my stuff doesn't look as good as some of the stuff posted on the site. this camera is also very new to me, actually all I've used is studio camera for concerts, so this may also be the problem. any suggestions at all would be greatly appreciated, from what does what and what is out there that can help.

There is alot you can do without any sort of add ons. Try searching the forums for various settings people have used. A good place to start is to look at the screen grabs forum, and people will usually post what settings they used. Dig through your manual and get familiar with the cam. No one can give you an end all film look list of settings, you have to fill in that blank on your own. Good luck!

Read Barry Green's book on the DVX if you haven't already. What you will definitely need is a Clear ND filter to protect your lens. (72mm) Also a ND.3 and ND.6 would be a nice addition but not necessary if most of your work is inside. But all the filters in the world won't help you much unless you know how to white balance and do standard shooting techniques that is found in the book.
