Lens sticking?

Hey guys.

Kinda off topic here, but anyways.

My nikon 50mm f/1.8 feels like something (like a small rock) is caught between the body and the actual glass. Its not on the glass, however, its making focusing quite difficult.

Any tips? Should i send it back to nikon and have them fix it?

Sounds like you need to have your lens taken apart and cleaned, its common on older lens, that the focus gets stiff...its about a $90 job, to take the lens apart and clean it up...at least thats what I paid to have some of my lens cleaned
