Are there any places (websites or anything) where some one could see image examples of different lens sizes? for example to see how an image produced with a 21mm lens compared to a 55mm lens.

I know the difference, but the visual is what i'm looking for.

thanks

Off the top of my head, no. But I'm sure they are out there if you look close enough.

But if you do find a picture of say, a 50mm, you can imagine other lenses.... for instance a 25mm has exactly double of a 50mm's FOV. While a 100mm lens has half the FoV of a 50mm lens.

It's actually pretty simple to mathematically figure. Hope that helps.

There are also FoV calculators, in which you can enter a camera format, camera to subject distance, and focal length and it will tell you how big (in feet) the frame is in the plane of focus. Make sense? That has helped me in many occasions. This is a great way to find how far you need to set a camera from subject with a certain lens to get a medium shot or etc.

These examples below aren't amazing. Just what I could find with a quick google search. I don't even know how accurate the images are. Just food for thought.

This chart shows the differences in background FoV, when the subject is moved to preserve composition.

I was checking out the Zeiss Compact Primes when I found this on their site:
