Lens for Redrock Micro35

Zach, I'm awaiting my M2, as well. I've already purchased a Nikkor 50mm f/1.8, Nikkor 28mm f/2 (or 2.8, can't remember right now) and a Nikkor 80-200mm f/2.8. Got all of them off of eBay. I think I'm set for the time being. Can always use more glass, but I've got wide, normal and telephoto covered fairly decently with these. I hope.

18mm.. i know this is asking a lot, but you wouldn't happen to have a grab with the 18mm would you? thanks either way!

Yeah, the 28mm might not be wide enough but I really won't know until I start going. It was the cheapest lens anyway (around $35), so no harm.

Zach - the 50mm was around $70 (from user betteroffblu who sells a lot of lenses) and the 80-200 was around $450, which was a pretty good deal. There are several different flavors of Nikkor 80-200 2.8's floating around -- some are quite expensive. Even the version I got (still has ED glass) usually runs up to $700 on eBay.

I too got a 50mm f1.4, 20mm f2.8, and a 135mm f2.0 nikkor primes off of ebay...haven't decided on which adapter yet....what makes the M2 the best?

I have an M2 and until I finish all the testing I want to do I would definately have reservations about anyone making that sort of claim.

The quality of the lenses you put on any adapter will however, make a big difference.

Hey zach,

Do you already have the M2?

If so, you should already have a certain mount...unless of course you purchase a slew of mounts that you can use them all.

Of course, I got the Nikon mount so I am limited on using Tokina, Sigma, Phoenix, and nikon lenses.

What mount did you get?
