Lens Adaptors for DVX?

My friend at NYU said this kid in his class used a lens adaptor on the DVX100 to connect 35mm film lenses. The class was blown away by the results.
Is this possible and if so how?

You're a smart college guy, right? Are you fluent in Google? If so, try a search for the P+S Technik Mini35 Adapter. Here's a breakdown of current and forthcoming options:

P+S Technik Mini35 Adapter (www.zgc.com)
Price? $10,330 :embarasse

If the price doesn't suit your fancy, consider renting one. (www.indierentals.com)
Price? $289/Day :embarasse

By the end of summer other options should be available.
Price? $999 or less, depending on who builds them :)

They're called the Micro35 (www.micro35.com) or the Guerilla35 (www.guerilla35.com). The main disandvantage between the newcomer competitors product and the actual Mini35 is the picture is recorded upside down on the camera. Please don't ask why. It just is and it has to be for the breakthrough kind of pricing.

I would encourage you to do a search on these boards for "Mini35" and "Micro35" and "Guerilla35" and educate yourself a little about how they work, or better yet, visit the forums on the manufacturers websites and ask them yourself.

As always, lenses not included!

Thanks for the info. I'll definitely check out those sites and forums. Have you ever seen DVX footage that was shot through a pro film lens?

Appreciate the reply.

P+S Technik sent me a DVD full of Mini35 footage.
Most of it was PD150 or XL1S and it looked like a million bucks!

The 'Seinfeld and Superman' web episodes were also XL1S/Mini35/various lenses.
