Anybody use this laptop as a monitor/focus device?

For $2K you get a 1920x1200 LCD screen, an Nvidia Quadro 540FX video card, a PCMCIA slot, Expresscard slot, 3 usb, a fire-wire port, and a 2.5Ghz Core 2 Duo processor. I would think this would be good for focusing as well as a decent editting machine. Has anybody used this machine?


The 1 negative about it is that it only has a VGA port (no s-video or HDMI port).

Just got an R61 for $1200 because I wanted a smaller laptop, its screen goes to 1280x800.

The T61 would certainly work just fine, you'd want to use Adobe OnLocation software as your monitoring app.
