Length of Countryman B6 cable

I'm looking for a good wired lavalier microphone to plug into a Zoom H4n to be used as double audio for interviews; I heard the Countryman B6 mentioned as a good mic for the money, however, I was wondering how long the cable was; I don't plan on having the subject more than a few feet from the camera(GH2) and they will be stationary at all times, but don't want to be stuck with a cable that's too short. The specs don't seem to indicate the mic length cable.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I believe those cables come with different ends. You may be able to get one with an XLR and attach a longer cable to it.

I thought about that; The one I have linked is the 3-pin XLR version, but I was unsure of whether there would be any issues plugging a longer XLR cable in between the Zoom and the mic. Thanks:)

Yeah. If you're looking to have it hardwired, then it's not really an issue. You just plug an XLR cable into the end of it. I've done it tons.

Ah okay; I just hope the cable is not so short that I've got the heavy ends of the XLR cable(s) dangling from the interviewee.

AIR, the mic with the XLR connector has about 4 feet of cable between the mic capsule and the XLR/power module. For the hard-wired version there's an accessory belt clip available for the XLR module - if it doesn't come bundled you can order one from Countryman for about $15. In any case you don't just let it dangle, if you don't have the belt clip have them put the module with the attached XLR in their pocket. You don't want any tension on the cable between the XLR adapter and the mic capsule. As for the limits to the cable run going from the XLR connector back to the camera or recorder, you'll be in balanced cable territory there so not to worry up to several hundred feet if necessary.
