Legitimate Truly Indepedent Film Critics

[thematthewbone]

I was wondering if anyone has ever found/heard of a site that dedicates itself to reviewing truly independent films. I mean films that do not have a distributor.

If not, or even if so, I am really interested in creating one. Reviewing films that no one has heard of, the only problem is this would obviously make it difficult to establish a readership.

Just working the graveyard shift and my mind is wondering. I think it would definately be interesting...

I am kind of hoping this will start a dialogue about if this is feasible, worth it, etc.

i know of a few. basically they will praise anything thrown at them in exchange for linking back to their site from yours.

well, that ruins the credibility of the independent film critic.

not that they advertise it like that, it's just sort of understood by indie filmmakers seeking publicity and quotes to stick on their posters and press kits.
