I was wondering if anyone who owns, or started a production company had to pay any other legal fees besides registering the LLC. Does anyone know what other legal things need to be done? and how much do they cost? :huh:

you will probably need a business license. I cant imagine any city not requiring one but check your local licensing office. Call your local government office and tell them you need to find out about a business licence and then tell whoever you get that are starting a video production company. They will tell you how much. its pretty simple and usually not much money(<$100). If you start an LLC and you wish to go by a name other than your own (which is probably typical you may need to get a DBA, which just states that John Doe is doing business as Rookie Video Pordictions. That may be included by whomever does your LLP but make sure. If you do need it you will have to publicly advertsie it which is usually a simple line in the local business journal or newspaper ($<100).
