Yeah it really sucks, kinda makes you lose faith in Humanity.
I will survive and get another camera when the dust settles from the legal action.
Advice:
Make sure you have a good contract (reviewed by a lawyer) with every project you do, big or small. Also make sure you are paid 1/3 before production, 1/3 on first day of production and 1/3 on delivery of masters. I had been easy on this due to the nature of the project, and never in a million years think I would get hung out by a client who I thought was a good person, and of a moral character. After this is settled, I anticipate the individual will lose their job....but this in the short term doesn't help my cash flow, at least now by selling my camera I can pay my child support.

think of it this way, when you get back on your feet, you will hopefully be just in time for the hvx200 unvailing, and then you have another camera to aim for without feeling like your neglecting your previouse DVX (kinda a really horrible excuse to get the hvx when your good and ready)

Damn Taylor! sorry to here the news. Money brings out the worst in people. Remember my ex-partner you met at. E.V.S. I caught him trying to steal a 85000.00 job. The only thing that stopped him was the producer said she would not do anything without me. He was furious that he got caught. 35 years of friendship and my best man at my wedding. Gone! Then to top it off the job fell through so it was all for nothing.

So I got the cash for my camera today, that should get me through the next while to dream of my HVX...
