left Transition (Push)

Hi, I am uisng the left transition (with a white bar) to push one scene to the left and transition to the next but the default settings of "Push" transition are very jerkey and way to fast. Is it possible for the push function to push the scene slowly to the left in Vegas?

You need to lengthen the overlap between the clips. It goes by as quickly as the length of the overlap on the timeline.

Thanks David, yes that did the trick. Sometimes the simplest thing is not so obvious.
