Left side mono play as stero help

When i capture from dv i get the video and only left side audio because my camera is messed up. So what i want to do is be able to hear the left side mono on both sides. In order to play it on both sides i had copy and paste the left side mono on 2 tracks. Is there a way i can set up FCP to play the one track mono on both sides??
 
select the audio on the timeline and hold down the shift and option keys as you drag the audio line to a new track and that will add a copy. Then select them both and click the modify tab in the top then check stereo pair.
 
There are a couple of ways you can do this.
1. Select the audio in the timeline and hit "control" + "." to pan the track to center (you can also select Modify->Audio->Pan Center in the top menu bar).

2. Open the clip in the viewer, go to the audio tab and set pan to "0" to center pan the track.
