Left Handed??

I uhh, am left handed.

Rumor has it that the people who are left handed are generally more creative than those....well....right handed people.

Who else is left handed? And do ambidextrous (sp?) people have super brains or something? And if so will the government use them for secret tests?

My grandfather is lefthanded. But he is not a filmmaker. He does have a master degree in English.

I find most cameras to be more difficult to use for left handers. I'm thinking of somehow scanning the DVX on a flat bed scanner, taking the image into PhotoShop, flopping it, then exporting it out to the firewire input on the camera. Does anyone know if that will somehow transport the camera to be a lefthanded model??

I'm Ambidextrous, but I guarantee you that it doesn't make me any smarter. If anything, I think my brain is using too much of it's resources so I can do things with both hands. Although i am not fully ambidextrous I guess you could say. I am stronger with my right arm and am more precise right handed, but I think that is because my teachers always forced me to write right handed as left handed people were "bad".

I too wish the DVX had a left handed model. I shake alot with my right which is fine because I just have an earthquake in all my shorts. No one notices I swear! ;D

I'm a lefty for most everything. I bat and golf right-handed and play bass right handed. On piano, my right hand is by far the most articulate. So in many ways I am ambidextrous. I throw and catch best with my left hand.

Einstein was a lefty, as was Beethoven, Benjamin Franklin, Jerry Seinfeld, Paul McCartney, Sting, Ned Flanders.

Of course, there are scores of highly accomplished right-handers, but given that only 10% of the population is left-handed, it does seem that lefties are over-represented in that group.

If that statistic is true (that only 10% of the pop. is LH) I wonder if that's because many people were forced into it?

My brother has only his left hand, but he would probably have been right handed if he had one.  He drinks, bats and golfs righty (unbelievably about a 15 handicap), and since he is forced to write with his left hand, he has atrocious handwriting.  Yet he is one of the most intellectually creative people I have ever met.  I wonder (if the theory about lefty's being more creative is true) that him being forced to be a lefty pumped up the creative juices.

My son is 3 and seems to be a promising lefty, but two generations up we are all righties on both sides . . . yes he is my kid!

I'm a lefty too. It would be convienent if the DVX was for both. But I like having my left hand on the focus ring or zoom ring.
