Left 4 Dead is out

Just finished about an hour of killing zombies. I killed the most zombies in the group... and I took the most damage. Par for the course. :D

Playing on the 360 so I guess I won't be joining you fellas. :zombie_smiley:
Very cool game. Great in the theatre with the lights off. The voices and sounds come from everywhere!

LOL Cool! I used to be on CS and Source all the damn time. My handle's were "SexyGuy4U" which used to piss off the homophobes big time, and "MajorDickStains" ditto.
Offcourse I got banned from a bunch of servers for the former name, but I don't see why I can't use it I mean there are famous people named Dick Army, Dick Button, Dick Sargeant, Dick Trickle (seriously, NASCAR I believe) etc...
I practically learned how to type talking smack on online FPSs.

This game is a lot of fun. Plus, who doesn't love zombies? Too many great games out this fall (Dead Space, Fallout 3, Gears 2, Resistance 2, Call of Duty 5, etc...) Once I make it through all the other new games I've recently purchased I was planning on maybe picking up Fable 2, but after playing the L4D demo I don't know.

I just played THE DEMO, for 2 hours, on expert, at a friends house.... I am so paranoid right now...

So what does everyone think now that the official game is out.

I was up late last night trying to survive Mercy Hospital and when that helicopter finally showed up, I was screaming like a schoolgirl. It was awesome. :)
 
Very cool game, and I like the theme of it based on a zombie movie. It gets crazy when you see the zombie mob rushing towards you. I wish the groups of 4 could merge on a map, nice refreshing game nonetheless.

For you guys on Steam I recommend TF2, its fun and well made!
 
My Demo is not allowing me to play all of a sudden ?

It just says "PRE LOAD COMPLETE - TO PURCHASE CLICK HERE ..."

Was the DEMO only good until release day ?

Anyone else experiencing this ?
 
Friend Bought it, Beat 1 of the 4 missions last night....


I was so scared, the car ride home was hell, expecting the next turn to reveal a horde of zombies(It was also snowing)

This game deserves its 9.5/10 rating... its amazing
 
IN subsequen versions and / or Mods

I'd like to see missoins where you must achieve something while the others hold off the Zeds. ie. Filling up a car with gas to escape, makin a barricade, etc ..

Thinking out loud.
 
Hudson, Now that the official game is out, the demo no longer works.

The climax scenes in the final game though are amazing. It feels like the entire world is out to get you and you are holding on by your fingertips to your last shred of health.
 
I'm waiting until I have some actual time to play to buy it. Won't be this weekend, I think. But this week...

It's on!
