LED taillight retro questions

I have been researching retrofitting some custom led fluorescent lamps into my tail lights, but I have a few questions. For one thing, how would you seperate the circuit for the brake and tail lights? In other words, so that the same recessed led ceiling lights will be illuminated with tail lights, then when brakes are applied, they will get brighter? And also, how would you fix the "fast blinker" issue with the turn signals?led strip lights

This forum is more for filmmaking discussion, you would probably get a better response on an automotive forum.

However, I did replace my tail lights with LEDs. I found some bulbs which have the LEDs built into them and just replace the regular bulb and they have two brightness levels based on the brake light / tail light state. I ran into a similar problem with the "fast blinker" issue as well, my cruise control is aftermarket and ever since I installed the LED tail lights, the cruise control would cancel whenever I turned on the tail lights, not just when I pressed the brake as they were supposed to. I hope that the solution is installing a load resistor but I haven't confirmed that yet, it may be an issue with how the circuitry inside the lamps work.
