LED on-cam light - too cool

Hi folks,

I got a LED on cam light. One similar but bigger than this:

It casts a very green light to the frame, so I went to the local store and got me some warm gel to put over it. I have two layers of this gel (the one the guy at the store recommended to change my green to tungsten), but it is STILL casting a very noticeable greenish colour to my frame. Is there anything else I can do besides adding more layers?

Thanks

Why didn't you get "minus green" gel? That would be my suggestion; other than sticking to reputable, professional LED makers, like the one you linked to.

'minus green' gel.... how come I have not heard that one before? alright I gotta stick to reputable, professional gel sales clerks.

Thanks

Did you by chance get those cheap 126/160 LED lights?

I bought one of these and they are a bit green, even with the warm filter. My kit also included a light magenta filter and I reckon next time I use them, I will sandwich both together when I use the lamp for fill-in in domestic situations.

For occassional use, they are still good value.

come to think of it, my kit did come with a magenta filter as it makes sense on the colour corrector. unfortunately I think I lost the filters... they are so easy to lose.
