LED Light - which one?

Hi
I'm looking to invest in an LED light panel to go alongside my two dedolights (DHL4).

I film music videos, interviews and also short films - so I need something portable (battery powered)

My budget is around $2000 (£1500 in the UK) and ideally I'd like to buy one from a UK retailer as it'll save me a bunch on import taxes and shipping costs. In that price I'd ideally want a bag/case and stand with that price but it's not a deal breaker.

Thanks a lot and looking forward to hearing your advice!

F&V are beginning to get a little bit of fame for their K4000 panels. You can get them either from F&V directly in their EU shop, or via the good guys at Cinegearpro.com. I don't know if Cinegear have the 3 light kit but it's worth finding out, especially for that price tag...

1000 euro for 3 lights.... that's damn cheap, and if they are not based in the UK you should talk to them about not charging tax when buying..... long live EU tax law.

I haven't seen/used these lights in person, so their CRI will be suspect until then. But what bugs me is they don't have barn doors!

Gekko Kelvin tiles (bi-colour) are good option too.

They were a lot more expensive but are cheaper now - they used to list at about 3 times the price (maybe more - I can't remember) and have been around for a while.

Get from CVP - http://www.creativevideo.co.uk/index.php?t=product/gekko_kit-kt-vp £399 (ex vat). Rugged build and well put together. Variable col temp with the ability (via DMX or an extra utilty box) to dial in specific colours.
