What kind of LED light kit (3 or 4 lights with stands) would you assemble if you had around $1,000? Some of the Aputure lights look interesting, also notice Dracast has some pretty nice kits already built with attractive pricing on B&H. Thoughts?

Thanks for the links and the video, good stuff. I would like a somewhat portable set up, but doesn't have to be one-man-band - daylight kit, preferably with barn doors so I can add gels/diffusion and control the beam - maybe I'm just used to more traditional lights? Interested in trying out a decent LED kit. Would be used for both narrative and talking heads work - indoor/outdoor, so versatility desired.

I have the Aputure 672 set (two spots and a wide) and they're great lights but there's a)an issue with flicker on battery power and b). they are inconvenient to diffuse. If I had to purchase a kit again, I might try something like this that has barn doors you can easily clip on diffusion: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/prod..._esdfs_kit_escort_daylight_led_interview.html and maybe this as a key: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1219693-REG/dracast_drsp_1000d_led1000_pro_daylight_led.html

Thanks for the tip, that genaray kit looks just about right - throw on that 1k and this might fit the bill.
