Hi!
I got back yesterday from a shoot, and one of my bulbs in my softbox cracked when I was screwing it into place in the softbox. The bulb is large and quite fragile, this is the second one that cracks for me. So I was starting to look for other alternatives for my current softbox bulbs.
After some searching on Ebay I found this bulb: http://www.ebay.com/itm/10W-12W-201...ht_Bulbs&var=510057030516&hash=item4ab4b77e58
This is a 5500k LED bulb, about the same size as the softbox bulbs I have now. These does not get as hot as the other ones, and they are definitely not as sensitive as the other ones are!
My question is has anyone else tried LED bulbs in a softbox, maybe something similar to this one? How is the light, can you work with it? I know that these LED bulbs are not the ones that will give much light, but these ones might do the trick with the nice diffusion that the softbox gives.
What do you think, is it worth trying out?
