Lectrosonics - How about a breakdown?

Hey everyone,

Im slightly confused by the Lectrosonics systems. Would I be right to assume that Lectro is the lowest you can go (on price), and still have a TRULY professional wireless system (not like the Sony UWP-C1 and Sen EW series are SEMI-pro)?

I would like a breakdown on how the lectrosonics series is sold, from cheap to expensive, if anyone knows...

What exactly am I looking for here? And george mentioned a two-in-on receiver? That sounds nice, how much?

And lastly, do all lectro kits use 9V battery, or can some run off AA?

Thanks guys, I appreciate your feedback.

PS - If not Lectro, then what?

the sm , mm400 and 250 mw smq which would be in NAB run on 1.5v
the ucr 401 would run on 2 aa as well

the lm,um and uh( battplug) transmitters run on 9v
the ucr 201, 411 runs on 9v
price - look at &H on line
if you biy kit it comes with lectro lavaliere
there would be another interesting product , worth waiting

The lectro models go back to the 180, 185 & 190. they were non-diversity.
the 195D started the diversity lineup.
The 200 series included diversity and added frequency agility.
The 210 & 211 are the best of those series.
The 201 is a less expensive alternative.
The 400 series are digital hybrid.
Lectro is phasing out the 200 series except the 201.
All lectro are 9 volts except the 210 receiver which is AA and the SM 400 series transmitter which is the very small transmitter which is AA.
There is also a 100 series lectro that is their low budget line, I'm not familiar with them.
The lectro website has plenty of info, surf.
