I watched a few clips, some wedding clips like john hudson's

I love the effect, in where all the screen is black and white, but color is left on a specific subject.

Is this through filters, like leave color in AE, i had bad experiences with this.

whats the best filter/plugin for this, i have vegas and ae

I didnt submit the 'wedding' clip you are referring to but I am positive this can be done in Vegas without a secondary plug in. Give me some time and Ill post the results!

in after effects:
effectgroup "stylize" effect is called Leave color.
depending on the shot you will need to add a garbage matte but other than that the effect is very straightforward to handle....

Any good techniques in Vegas. I see that AE leave color is not the most precise, unless you have absolutely one color and no spill or color cast of the same color.

I am having some success in VEGAS by using the SECONDARY COLOR CORRECTOR.

Once you apply the VIDEO FX of the SECONDARY COLOR CORRECTOR you would then choose SELECT EFFECTS RANGE

Use the EYEDROPPER tool to select the colr/range YOU DO NOT WANT TO KEEP. You can then CHECK the SHOW MASK option to see if it is working. I am still trying to figure it out and a better understanding of the Color Wheel would probally help; also planning the shot in advance (ala Schindlers List and the Little Red Jacket Girl)

Nice work .... Kinda makes me want to do weddings. Adult films are slow now anyway. Nice work ;D
