So I just picked up my HVX02EN today and am a bit worried.
When I flip to MCR/VCR Mode (preview clips / format P2's etc) there is a noticable continuous flicker/jitter in both the LCD and Viewfinder Screens at the main menu/thumbnail selection page (and only this page). It is like when you have an incorrect refresh setting or the screen cannot handle the resolution being sent to it resulting in horizontal jitter on straight lines. Is this normal or should the LCD & Viewfinder in this mode be rock steady ?
No problem in record mode or when I am playing a clip it is rock steady. Problem is only at the Main menu prompt/clip preview selection page.
This says to me that the screen resolution when in "Linux world" is somehow set to too high a value for the LCD & Viewfinder LCD to handle. Must be a software / firmware issue. I can live with it but it is annoying.
Should I take it back to have the store look at it ?
