LCD Production Monitors

Has anyone tried the LCD production monitors - like the Sony LMD2020 or its smaller relatives?

I don't mind spending the money (my wife insists, as matter of fact), but I don't like wasting it.

But I really do need a monitor.

I haven't used one. But gosh would I like to. I saw a panasonic one at a local pro video store that they had running as a 3rd full screen preview monitor. By no means did I test the calibration on it or anything like that, but the picture looked really good. Not to mention you save soo much space and power with one. I would probably go with one of the Sony's myself. If the wife insists, I say go for it! I think alot of them have all the blue gun/underscan/color adjustments necessary to be used for color correction nowadays...BTW, hows the weather in Germany?
 
Today, it rained. Then it didn't. Then it did again. Right now, it isn't.

I have my umbrella for later. :)
