LCD Hood in 30secs - for beer lovers ??

Doesn't everyone own multiple neoprene "stubby-holders"..??

Cut two slits opposite each other as shown slightly smaller than your LCD monitor.

Slide over the screen.

Bingo .. Flexible LCD hood that doubles as a beer stubby holder.

You could if you were fussy, insert a small rectangular plastic or wire frame at the screen end to hold the shape better, but this is perfect for me.
Good old Aussie ingenuity.

For 8 inch monitors, I use one of those insulated nylon/plastic lunch bags you can find at just about every Dollar store or Wallmart. Find one that is black inside. Cut some holes in the bottom for cables and mounting arms, lay the monitor in it, backside first so it is peeking up at you from the top. (same principle as the Barley-Vision hood posted above) With a little looking around, you will probably find one the fits your monitor perfectly. Nicest thing of all is you can close it up at the top using the velcro that is on it already, and keep your monitor in it semi-permanently,. Just make sure you cut a few holes so it can breath. You dont want it over heating. Most of these lunch bags are about 3 to 5 bucks so be sure to buy a few of them if you find one that Fits better than OJ's Glove!!
