lcd flip problem

I got an external lcd so I could help focus and frame with my 35mm adapter, but it flips the image every time I turn it upside down. I tried the magnet all over the lcd screen but couldn't find a place where the magnet did anything to the image. Is there another way I could locate the sensor that determines if the screen is rightside up or not?

Are you having a problem with your lcd screen on your camera (i.e. DVX100,DVX100a or DVX100b)... or are you having a problem with the external LCD screen you have? Note: you can not flip the image with a magnet if you own a DVX100b or unless you do what I have done and hack the DVX100b permanently in order to flip your image. The answer is yes, I have voided my warranty...

it's a cheap chinese lcd. The name of the brand is SUPER. But I took it apart and on the lcd panel housing it said sharp.

I did the HVX200 mod to my DVX100b, I can not recommend that you do this. It may void your warranty, as well as damage the hell out of your camera. I did it, well, because I was over the warranty time line and I wasn't the original owner. So, I figured what the heck... I lucked out... Once again, I don't recommend doing it... I've heard nightmares and $1200.00 LCD replacements however, I do have a flipped image with my Redrock M2 on my LCD and I don't have a big bulky Marshal monitor hanging off my DVRig Pro... The M2 is heavy enough as it is... lol...
