a while back i seen some really nice footage of LAX airport timelapse. does anyone know where that member of this board is? or do you know where i can get some really nice LAX timelapse footage? i want to use it for a music video. only w/ their permissions of course! :)

thanks.

I should do one of these out my window at work. The Burbank Airport is just to my left, and the planes flight immediately over my window on a windy day.

trying to wrap my head around the process with a still cam.
You set up the camera to snap one frame at an interval. IE 3 fps, it gives the appearance of faster motion.

I've sent an email to the guys at 599 asking if they can shed light on how they did the timelapse stuff. Like what iso setting was used? shutter speeds? was some sort of mechanised/electronic shutter release system used? Quality of capture? Processing the cards on location? etc etc etc......If I get a response I'll post the reply here.

can someone send me contact info for 599productions? i don't have my mail system set up on my mac yet; and it won't even let me see a email addy for them. an email would be fine or a phone number.

thanks.

What's the best way of achieving the look (or a similar look) of this lapse with the 100b? It doesn't have interval recording, but I would love to do some fluid lapsing with mine. The best way I can think of is recording fully, and utilizing RE:Vision's Twixtor Pro.

What to do, what to do...

Did 599 ever respond? It beautiful footage. I'm not sure they'd part with the info. I'm burning to know though. PleaSe post anything you've learned.

Thanks
