Lavs, wired or wireless?

The mics that come with the G2 kits are junk. They work but the sound leaves alot to be desired. Countryman EMW, B6, B3, Sanken Cos-11, Tram TR50 are all much better mics and come in a variety of terminations from g2 to lectro to xlr. Seems like they run from 150 (EMW) to 300+(Cos-11). Apart from being superior mics, being wired they'll sound better as well. To me wireless is for when you just can't have wires for whatever reason. I'm sure I'm leaving out some great mics but I'm tired and those are at least a good place to start. Prices are also just a guess. Northernsound has great prices on the countryman stuff. BH has pretty pictures to look at though :)
