hi phil which version of th b3 is the right one for film and tv?

As far as I know, there is only one model of B3 mic, with lots of plug options depending on your wireless setup. (Well, and you can order it in lots of different colors - mine is tan.) Check the Countryman B3 page:

I just re-read through this thread and want to correct one thing-
Handling noise on the EMW is actually not that bad - you just have to figure out which side is up on the mic head - I discovered that when I have it upside down, what sounds like handing noise is usually the mic rubbing against skin. Once you figure this out (d'oh!) the handling noise is fairly minimal with the EMW.
