Lavalier Mic Replacement

The lav mic for my Audio Technica wireless lav system broke yesterday. Rather than just going ahead and replacing it with the same mic, I wanted to explore other options.

Which lav mics (just the mic, not the system) would you recommend for value and quality? I'd like to spend less than $50.
