lav power supply for tram via sennheiser?

i've got tram tr50's for my g2's and i'm looking to get a hard wired solution. i know tram makes the tr79 which runs about $170 but sennheiser makes a module that runs about $130, but it does not indicate that it works with any other mics other than sennheiser's. but seeing that a g2 will run my tr50 then should this module run my tr50s as well?

The MZA 900-P basically imitates the G2 mic. input.

So if the mic runs happily from a G2 it will also run happily from the MZA 900-P.
